Chat & helpdesk

Tasks from Slack, Mattermost and Zammad

With the slash command you create tasks straight from Slack or Mattermost — with assignee, project, priority and description in one line. Tickets from Zammad arrive automatically as tasks in workYoo.

  • Slash command for Slack and Mattermost
  • @person, #project and !priority in one line
  • Mattermost: self-hosted works too
  • Zammad tickets become tasks

What the command looks like

  • /workyoo Fix login @stefan #Website !high | Login no longer works
  • @ — assignee
  • # — project
  • ! — priority, description after |

Public REST API

An API for your own tools

The public API gives access to tasks, projects, customers, contacts, minutes, wiki, documents, inventory, checklists and more. You authenticate with a bearer token, up to 120 requests per minute, and you can see your monthly quota in the admin area at any time.

  • Read and write for the key areas
  • 64-character bearer token
  • 1,000 calls a month free, 10,000 package for €4.90
  • Keys with limited scope, e.g. wiki sync only

Webhooks

  • Events for tasks, projects, customers, contacts, minutes and the wiki
  • HTTPS only, signed with HMAC-SHA256
  • Up to three delivery attempts
  • Managed via the API itself

Sign-in & more

  • Email to task: own address per member
  • Forms create tasks, customers and contacts
  • ticketYoo events as projects with task counters

More ways in

  • Sign in with a Microsoft account
  • Forward an email, the task is there
  • Public form for requests

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much do the integrations cost?

Most plugins are free. Microsoft Entra SSO and email to task cost €1.00 each per user and month from the 3rd member, net. The API includes 1,000 calls a month, 10,000 more cost €4.90.

Do I get notifications in Slack?

The Slack and Mattermost integration creates tasks via slash command. For your own notifications use webhooks or automations that call a URL.

How secure are webhooks?

Webhooks only go to HTTPS addresses on the public internet and are signed with HMAC-SHA256 so you can verify their origin.

Does the calendar feed work with Outlook?

Yes, with Outlook, Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and any app that understands iCal subscriptions. For two-way events there is the calendar plugin with CalDAV.

Where can I find the API documentation?

In the docs on workyoo.com and in the public API plugin dialog.
